Kennett Collaborative and Square Roots Collective present Kennett Square Holiday Village Market

Kennett Collaborative, in partnership with Square Roots Collective, announces the much-anticipated Kennett Square Holiday Village Market at the enchanting Creamery of Kennett Square. This festive event, spanning the first two weekends in December, has become a longstanding cherished Kennett tradition bringing more than twelve thousand locals and visitors to town.

Daily schedules posted at kennettholidaymarket.com.

“We bring fifty vendors each day which, along with our unique merchants throughout Kennett, make for incredible holiday shopping!” says Daniel Embree, the Executive Director of Kennett Collaborative. “And there’s so much to do beyond shopping. At the market you can meet Santa & Mrs. Claus, go ice skating, and enjoy some hot cocoa or mulled wine next to the fire!”

Steph Almanza of Square Roots Collective highlighted the impact of Kennett Square Holiday Village Market on the community: “Holiday Village Market supports our mission to advance Kennett Square as a thriving community. We are excited by the prospect of hosting so many friends and visitors at the Market.  And since The Creamery reinvests 100% of its profits for the benefit of the community, visitors can enjoy a good drink and know that they’re doing good at the same time.”

This year’s Kennett Square Holiday Village Market promises a host of family-friendly activities, including visits from Santa, face painting, a live ice sculptor, greenery arrangement workshops by Longwood Gardens (sold out), balloon twisting, and much more. The market boasts a rotating lineup of handmade, vintage, and artisan vendors, ensuring a unique experience for visitors on both weekends.

For the first time, the market will include ice skating at the Creamery’s “glice” rink. Please note that reservations for ice skating are required in advance at kennettcreamery.com, adding an extra layer of enchantment to this year’s festivities.

Meredith Langer of Merely Mere, one of the original creators of Holiday Village Market, shared how the market has grown: “Kennett Holiday Village Market started in 2016 when Kennett Township and Historic Kennett Square [now known as Kennett Collaborative] saw an opportunity to create a festive community event. At the time, The Creamery was a pop-up, but we recognized it was the perfect location and they worked with us to create the market one weekend. Now, in our seventh year, the event extends over two weekends and has grown with more vendors—and attendees—than ever!”

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this magical celebration and experience the holiday spirit in the heart of Kennett Square.
