The Kennett Greenway Awarded 1.4 million in Grant Funding

We are incredibly grateful for our state representatives and local organizations who helped us secure $1.471 million in state funding this week for the Kennett Greenway! A pedestrian and bike-friendly Birch Street with new much-needed stormwater infrastructure and a beautiful streetscape will be coming in hopefully 2023-24! Additionally, you will be able to bike or walk through a new railroad underpass from the Borough to Pennock Park. Together with the completion of the upcoming Chandler Mill Trail, we are making big progress towards a more connected community!
